Knox Elementary School will become an Ecosystem for Learning in which we B.E.L.I.E.V.E. in the potential of every child and the philosophy that Knox's students will be motivated and empowered with the knowledge and skills needed to journey toward college and/or a career.

Our Goals and Beliefs

Our Goals:

1.      Every student will be reading on grade level.

2.      Every student will be able to think critically and creatively.

3.      Every student will meet or exceed the state and national average on state mandated assessments.

4.      Every student will be empowered with the effective life skills which will enable them to reach personal goals and strive for excellence.

5.      Every student will value education and will be encouraged to attain a high school diploma and to continue education beyond high school.

6.      Knox Elementary School will be a school of excellence and will attain 100% Adequate Yearly Progress status each year.

Our Beliefs:

1.      Every student has the potential to learn, achieve, and be successful.

2.      Students learn in different ways.

3.      Every student is a valued individual with unique physical, social, and emotional needs.

4.      Students can learn and apply critical and creative problem solving skills.

5.      Students can learn to appreciate and respect individual differences and other cultures.

6.      Know Elementary is a physically and emotionally safe haven for all students.

7.      Teachers, parents, and the community share the responsibly for the support and attainment of the school’s vision, mission, and goals.
